It is the goal of the Hoosier Hills Firefighters to support and uplift one another, as well as our brothers and sisters in the Service (Fire and EMS). If you know of a firefighter or EMT/paramedic who is struggling with a problem in their life, or an immediate family member of a firefighter or EMT who could use some support, please let us know as soon as possible. You do not need to give us your name unless you want to. Just give us the details and how to get in contact with the person in need. Charity begins at home, and we must take care of one another. While the community sees us as heroes because of our bravery and public deeds. Real heroics is humble and silent. Heroes are defined because of their good deeds and actions. What can be more heroic than praying for and coming to the rescue of one of your own in a time of distress or disaster? We are here for you. Are you here for us? |

On Saturday, September 29, the group helped serve breakfast for a golf scramble fund raiser. Well over $1000 was raised at this scramble to purchase smoke detectors to give away to families. We encourage you to join us Thursday, December 27 @ 18:00 to consider examples of lay and ordained ministers doing their work from both Old and New Testaments. We hope to see you then.
